The “V-Trough” Closing Conveyor carries sewn or pinch-bottom bags in a vertical position. Two belts at 45 degrees create a “V” shape holding bags upright while they move to the closing head. Available in 8, 10, and 12 foot lengths, height also adjusts from 14 to 32 inches for different bag sizes. In addition, the back rail can be moved in or out to help stabilize bags. Eight inch, three-ply belts are driven on standard lag pulleys by a 1/2 horsepower motor with dust proof wiring. Lastly, standard belt movement is 40 feet per minute but other speeds are available.
